Pan da va vinci code

My thoughts wandered a lot before I sat to write this blog.I have to say that this would be my best blog if I happen to complete
it successfully.

I am right back from watching a good Tamil picture in Raj Tv(What Crap!!!You might be wondering.A software engineer, working
for a billion dollar conglomerate watching Tamil film!!!That too,in Raj TV...oops...whew...).But hang on.This is not as bad
as you think. The Name of the movie is "Karnan".The film had the cast of the great'Sivaji'Ganesan, who was donning the lead
role. But i am not going to talk about the 'thespian' of tamil filmdom.
The movie also had a character 'Lord'Krishna, donned by Veteran Telugu Filmstar N T RamaRao.No i am not going to talk about
the veteran either. Then about whom am i going to talk?
I have eliminated the two film stars.I am neither knowledgeable enough to talk about the character 'karna' nor 'Krishna'.
But hey!I might not be knowledgeable enough to talk about those characters, but wise enough to pick the essence of their
characters.

First,a spotlight on karna. The man himself ,born to kunti and suryadeva has been known for his righteousness and his good deeds.
The only mistake (probably from others perspective) was that he stood by duryodhana(man who is known for his atrocities).
Thats all i know about him.You cannot blame me :-))coz,thats whats they showed on Yash Chopra's Mahabharatha. But they did
portray a lot on the character Krishna.Rest of my blog is going to be about the Witty Lord Krishna.

Here comes the cool and cozy man who was the lead director of the pandava Army.Everything from 'strategy' to 'capacity planning'
was done under his consultation. If the Epic today dictates Pandavas as the victorious heroes of Mahabharata, then it was
because of this man.Let me quote a couple of instances of how he decoded the entire kaurava strategies and encoded them back in favour of
the pandavas(Ugh!!!Afterall i am software engineer).

Firstly,he identified the potential strength of kaurava army.Although it boasted of some of the greats like Bhishma,Dronacharya,
kripachariya, karna,Duryodhana, the very presence of 'Vidhura'(Pandu and Dridarashtra's half brother)and his sacred 'Bow'
would have rendered a catastrophic blow to the pandava army.

Plan 1:The mythical magician ignites a bitter feud (Yes,Similar to that between Greg and Saurav) between Duryodhana and
Vidhura in the royal court of kauravas. The feud sparks of to such an extent that vidhura breaks his sacred 'Bow' and refrains
from fighting for Kaurava Army.

Result:
Strong link broken.Army could be penetrated easily.

Next as a true strategist,he discovered Arjuna as the greatest strength of the Pandava army.So his prime objective was
to shield arjuna from the rivals, more importantly from 'karna'.

Again something about karna(Excuse me please!!!).Karna, becasue of his good deeds, has the dubious distinction of owning the
'Naga Astra'(Powerful weapon of yester yuga...Analogical to the now Atomic Bomb,SARS,Bird Flu,Anthrax).

Plan 2:Herecomes the masterful director. He persuades Kunti Devi(Mother of Pandavas) to use her motherly love towards karna
and persuade him from not using the 'astra' towards arjuna.

Result:
Rivals strength diminished.Relatively, helping in improving the pandava's

strength.

Although, there were many other strategies and plans formulated and implemented by krishna, the above two should teach all of
us a lesson or two.

1.Identify your strength and make the most use of it.
2.Identify opponents strength and do not play into his hands.

Well! Not sure whether i completed it successfully, dozing of already.

Haaaaaaaaau(Yawning!!!)

Pradeep - Good attempt to draw inferences from the epics and the movie. As you admitted, there could be many more learnings from it. More of it when you get to ponder more.

Keep up your good blogs.

Good one... But the main ones ( in my opinion ) are as follows:

1. tackling Dhronacharya - using the phrase " Ashvathama Hatha, Naro ya Kunjaraha" .. meaning that Ashvathama is dead and letting him confirm the truth from Yudishtira ( Yudistira says he doesn’t know if it was a man or elephant by the name ashvathama that died"

2. On amavasya day, one of the three "Purusha"s with "Sarvalakshana" should be sacrificed. Choices were
Arjuna, Krishna and Aravaan ( son of Arujuna and a naga kanya)
Kauravas get to know of this and ask Aravan to sacrifice life for them. Krishna does Tharpana and summons Sun and Moon ... sorry , Moon and Sun and thus calls it Amavasya and sacrifices Aravaan to Godess Kali , on behalf of pandavas thus helping them win the Kurukshetra war...

Krishna ... the best strategist .... Loved ur article so thought would add my points as well..
